Why we love fashion week? Because the eyes never get bored. From Victoria Beckham’s display, to Kanye West’s, Tommy Hilfiger and all the designers at the fashion week, to the leggy models, glamorous celebrities and of course the street fashion, the September 2016 New York Fashion Week is exciting.
With the fashion week not yet at an end, Malian born, Parisian based designer, Lamine Kouyatè showcased his 2017 Spring/Summer collection for New York Fashion Week at The Dock Skylight, Moynihan Station, New York .
Lamine, who is with Xuly Bet went head to toe with Ankara. From the head ties, sunglasses, jackets, pants, dresses, leggings, handbags to the footwear, Lamine went Ankara all the way.
Although not a new look (we have seen Ankara plenty before), but it was a different look from the sheer and bodysuits and panelling that was clearly dominating the September 2016 fashion week.
He veered from the traditional Ankara skirt and blouse, and made it a glamorous ready-to wear-look that is colorful and simple in a chic way.
The collection is creative and well put, totally love it.
