The Aso-oke assemblage has 12 years of research put into it to achieve this impressive and deep bridal wears for the beautiful African woman. The design claims to  combine Aso-oke and lace and in the words of the creator of this beautiful piece, Deola Ade Ojo, ‘it is not just a parallel to the European lace but an usurper… making the new design even better than the sum of its parts’.

According to Linda Ikeji, the Komole range and Komole signature motifs have taken “occasion outfits” to a new fashion apex with unparalleled painstaking craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The colour palette is a continuum from pastels to jewel tones, with iridescent sheen
arising from silk ‘shot-through’ Aso-Oke weaves. Silhouettes flatter into a demure
hourglass shape with floor length dresses that stagger the onlooker.
The Komole Kandids collection also heralds a shift for the House of Deola family of
brands, as the fashion house enters a new level of dialogue with its audience and fans through social media platforms.

The colors are deep and exciting and can also be described as the new HD of African clothing. The designs are detailed, each piece carefully and neatly cut and pieced together. The design are also bold and yet sensual. Of note is the collections play with Orient-like floral motifs. It is commendable to see so many different colours and designs as opposed to the usual monotony that now accompanies modern fashion.
